This series will provide the following two trainings:

Learning Objectives

• Identify 3 barriers to healthcare and health maintenance experienced by transgender and non-binary individuals.
• Describe how to assess, document, and utilize patient preferred pronouns during an episode of care.
• Discuss organ-based health screening and health maintenance screening unique to transgender individuals.
• Explain the concept of minority stress and the mental health ramifications of aggregate trauma on patient health.

Each training will be offered twice during the month of April 2022 on differing dates/times. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can attend both trainings, taking into consideration participant scheduling conflicts. You may attend all sessions, but it isn’t required.
